Summer Wrap-up Read-a-thon: Summer Vacations & Cover Love Challenge

It's Day 3 of the Summer Wrap-up Read-a-thon!
Summer Vacations:
Where do you want to vacation in a book? Hosted  by Understanding Shae's Story.

I adore The Mortal Instruments and in book 3, City Of Glass, we get a peek of the world that the Nephilim live in which is Idris. It sounded like something from a Jane Austen novel yet still modernized. I have this fascination with corsets and gowns, this is a place where you can fancy up like lady and still manage fight like warrior, just take Izzy for example.

Cover Love Challenge:
Falling for YA is hosting this challenge for the read-a-thon. You basically pick one or more covers of the books that you exceptionally liked that's been released in the summer.

Out of all the releases I can think of right now, this is my favorite. Like seriously? The girl looked bad-ass! Just gorgeous.

Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon: "Hotter Than Summer" Boys

I almost forgot about the reading challenges honestly but when I saw this, I nearly screamed. How very fan-girl of me but if you know me, you'll know that I'll post, rave, drool, swoon over MY loved fictional boys any time, anywhere, baby! Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon is organized by Some Like It Paranormall and In Between Writing. To know more about the Read-a-thon, click here. This challenge is hosted at A Book-lovers Review.

Rules:

1. List characters (as many as you want) that you think are hotter than summer!
2. Add the book title or book cover
3. Put your rating
4. Link up your review (Amazon, blog, Goodreads, etc.)
5. Explain your pick

These are the boys I swooned over so far this year:

Jace Herondale/ Lightwood/ Wayland from The Mortal Instruments
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: City Of Bones, City Of Ashes, City Of Glass, City Of Fallen Angels
Why I picked him: Honestly, how can I not pick this boy? He is adorably cocky, handsome and perfect. I just wished Cassandra Clare would give him a break! (Still have to finish City of Lost Souls)

Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Beautiful Disaster
See related post here: Book Boyfriend
Why I picked him: Love him to pieces! He's my #1 bad boy as of the moment and I don't think he will be replaced anytime soon.

Carmine DeMarco from Sempre (Forever)
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Sempre (Forever)
See related post here: Book Boyfriend
Why I picked him: JUST AMAZING. When he speaks italian, my ovaries we're just about to combust. TMI? Yeah but it's the truth!

Alex Fuentes from Perfect Chemistry
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Perfect Chemistry
Why I picked him: Just hearing about him makes me wanna say "Ay papi!" and let me tell you, that does not happen often!

Noah Hutchins from Pushing The Limits
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Pushing The Limits
Why I picked him: Well here is a normal kid but swoonable all the same. He reminded me of Travis whom I loved so I immediately liked him. His love for his little brothers and Echo won me over!

Prince Ash from The Iron Fey
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: The Iron King, Winter's Passage
Why I picked him: Well, I'm only a little ways in The Iron Daughter but I really liked him in The Iron King. Black hair, silver eyes.. definitely swoonable.

I wouldn't dare call these people boys but I figured they deserve to be mentioned as well!

Christian Grey from Fifty Shades
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Fifty Shades Of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, Fifty Shades Freed
Why I picked him: Yeah, yeah, he's insane.. sadistic.. blah, blah but hey, I couldn't help but swoon over him so sue me! *sticks tongue out

Bones from The Night Huntress
Swoon-o-meter: ♥♥♥♥♥
Read my review here: Halfway to the Grave
Why I picked him: Damn it, the instant he appeared in the book, I was probably head over heels as Cat was!

Don't hesitate to link yours up if you're participating as well! I really want to read them. I could always use recommendations for future fictional boys to swoon over!
